Due to recent growth, we are seeking Support Workers who have experience supporting people with dementia, mental health, physical support needs and challenging behaviors.
About the Role:
* In home care assisting and enabling participants with daily tasks. inc. meal preparation, personal care and administering medication.
* Assisting with domestic duties around the home.
* Supporting clients to engage and participate in their community.
* Support and enable participants to achieve their goals.
About You:
* Minimum 1 plus years of experience in the disability sector.
* Experience supporting clients dementia and mental health prefered
* Experienced supporting clients with manual handling, hoist transfer is highly beneficial.
* Valid CPR & First Aid certificates.
* Experience across a range of disabilities.
* Minimum Certificate III Disability or similar/higher.
* Good communication skills.
* Empathy for the issues facing people with a disability.
* Strong belief in the principles of Person Centred Practices.
* Highly organised and proactive.
* NDIS workers check.
* NSW Driver’s License (or similar) plus own car is desirable.
