The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory work, with the ability to perform a variety of tests and analyses to support product development and quality control processes.
The Senior Lab Tech will be responsible for conducting analysis, analysing data, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.Responsibilities:Undertake analysis of wine and other beverages including tests on raw materials, intermediates, and finished productsMaintaining accurate records of all test results and procedures performedEnsure data entry practices are completed in a timely and accurate fashionPreparation of customer samplesEnsuring compliance with safety regulations in the lab environmentAt times training junior lab technicians on proper procedures and techniquesSkills:Strong understanding of laboratory procedures and techniquesProficiency in using laboratory equipment and instrumentsAbility to interpret test results accuratelyExcellent attention to detailRequired Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related fieldMinimum of 2 years experience working in a laboratory settingPrevious experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferredKnowledge of quality control processesFamiliarity with ISO standardsPlease attach a cover letter to your application addressing the above criteria.Applications will close on 10th April 2025, applications received after this date will be treated as an 'expression of interest' only.We are an equal opportunity employer and encourage people from all diversity of life to apply.All applications will be treated with strict confidentiality regardless of whether candidates are successful or not.We currently operate over two shifts in the Laboratory, 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm.Base salary not inclusive of superannuation or shift loading and allowances.
