The Role
Using a person-centred and active support approach, the Registered Nurse (RN) will provide basic clinical support to the service team to optimize the health outcomes of NDIS participants and their families.
Through the provision of professional clinical health consultation, mentoring, training, and advice, the Registered Nurse will work with the service team to support assessments and provide recommendations on services and a range of plans, including individual support plans, health care plans, medication plans, meal plans, manual handling plans, etc., to achieve the optimum care outcomes for each client.
Skills And Essential Requirements
* NDIS Worker Check (or willing to obtain)
* Currently registered with AHPRA
* Minimum of one year of supervised post-registration practice
* Must have the right to work in Australia
* Current driver's license and a willingness to drive BET or own vehicle to support client needs
* Flexibility and a willingness to travel and work at all BET work locations
* Hold a current Manual Handling Certificate and be physically able to undertake manual handling procedures
* Hold current First Aid, CPR, and Medication Administration Certificate
