OverviewThe Townsville Regional In Charge Medical Administrator is responsible for the operational delivery of medical administrative services across multiple Queensland X-Ray practices in the Townsville region.ResponsibilitiesOperationally manage medical administrative services across multiple Queensland X-Ray practices within the Townsville region under the direction of the Managing Radiologist(s) and Clerical Operations Coordinator in accordance with Queensland X-Ray operational requirements.Apply well-developed clerical knowledge and skills to the management of Medical Administrative services across the region, ensuring alignment with Queensland X-Ray operational requirements.Foster and promote a culture of service excellence through the consistent demonstration of responsibility, accountability, and initiative across all aspects of medical administrative service provision.Lead the development of service improvement initiatives across multiple practices to ensure the provision of high-quality medical administrative services in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary practice leadership group.Build advanced leadership and operational management capabilities in clerical leaders across the region.Lead change management processes with direction from the Clerical Operations Coordinator and in collaboration with clerical leaders across the region.Apply expertise to solve large-scale and/or complex regional, administrative service or workflow problems.Qualifications & ExperienceCertificate III in Business Administration or other relevant TAFE/university qualification.Previous managerial experience in a multi-modality setting in a major metropolitan or regional area.Minimum of 5 years' experience working in a medical imaging department.An understanding of the importance of confidentiality across all areas of the business.Demonstrate sound judgement and maturity.Ability to work autonomously with high attention to detail.Additional InformationInternal Vacancy - Only current Queensland X-Ray (QXR) employees are eligible to apply.Please note: this is an internal vacancy; only current QXR employees are eligible to apply.
