The successful candidate will join a high-performing team, based at our modern Head Office in Collins Street, which offers a vibrant environment featuring a balcony, BBQ area, collaborative and quiet spaces, and plenty of natural light.
* Asset acquisition: Assist the business in the selection of assets, facilitate lease/purchase quotes and approvals in accordance with delegations of authority.
* Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure asset specifications are configured correctly meeting fit for purpose requirements of the business, governance, quality and compliance requirements.
* Manage asset utilization and eliminate unnecessary assets and costs.
* Provide repairs and maintenance, fuel card, toll, telematics, infringements, breakdown and accident management services.
* Maintain asset and other applicable databases, to ensure accurate records and cost allocation of assets.
* Facilitate asset maintenance procedures to ensure ongoing asset fitness for intended purpose, compliance with manufacturers' and regulatory specifications and OHS guidelines.
* Formulate or help formulate quality procedures and plans, and interface within the company, with customers, and suppliers on asset quality-related issues.
* Coordinate the disposal of surplus assets in accordance with delegations of authority with the objective of obtaining the best possible financial return for the company.
* Provide management reports to assist the business in making informed decisions.
* Ensure the quality, physical protection, security and control of all assets.
* Review, audit and process invoices in accordance with delegations of authority.
Key Responsibilities
The Asset and Quality Coordinator - Commercial Assets & Plant will be responsible for:
1. Managing asset acquisition and disposition processes.
2. Ensuring asset specifications meet business requirements.
3. Providing repairs and maintenance services.
4. Maintaining asset and other applicable databases.
5. Facilitating asset maintenance procedures.
6. Coordinating the disposal of surplus assets.
7. Providing management reports.
8. Ensuring asset quality and security.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess:
* Demonstrated asset management experience.
* Knowledge and experience in supplier/contract management.
* Experience in leasing and asset ownership management.
* Experience in financial transactions and controls.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills.
* A team player who is motivated and can drive outcomes in an inclusive and collaborative manner.
* Knowledge of asset-related quality compliance and governance requirements/guidelines.
* Demonstrated experience with light, heavy commercial and plant equipment assets.
* Demonstrated knowledge of commercial asset regulatory requirements.
