This research group is affiliated with Sydney Medical School, the Faculty of Medicine and Health, University of Sydney across the Kids Neuroscience Centre, Children's Hospital at Westmead and the ANZAC Research Institute, Concord Campus.The successful candidate will be a lead scientist providing immunology and molecular biology expertise to a multidisciplinary team; and will take a key role in executing projects evaluating the immunobiology underlying autoimmune diseases of the nervous system. The candidate should have a strong background in immunology and molecular biology, with core competencies detailed below. Data generated from scientific experiments will be analysed in the context of clinical data, with a translational aspect to all research outputs from our group.Research Responsibilities:design and execute laboratory experiments for specific research projects under the supervision of the Translational Neuroimmunology Group Headhigh competency in tissue culture based experiments using cell lines.
