As the BI Developer, you will be crucial in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable BI solutions that support key organizational functions, from patient outcomes to resource management.
What You Will Be Doing
* Design & Develop: Create and optimize robust ETL processes, data models, dashboards, and reports using the Microsoft BI Stack and related technologies.
* Data Translation: Collaborate with clinical, operational, and administrative stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications and data solutions.
* Performance Tuning: Ensure the optimal performance, reliability, and scalability of BI solutions and data warehouses.
* Quality Assurance: Implement data governance and quality practices to ensure the integrity and accuracy of healthcare data.
* Innovation: Research and recommend new technologies and methods to enhance the BI architecture and reporting capabilities.
What You'll Need to Succeed (Your Skills)
* Proven Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a BI Developer.
* BI Tool Proficiency: Expert-level skills in the Microsoft BI Stack (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, SQL Server).
* Data Visualization: Strong experience with Power BI (or equivalent tools like Tableau, QlikView) for dashboard and report creation.
* SQL Mastery: Advanced proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
* Healthcare Experience (Crucial): Direct, demonstrable experience working with healthcare data (e.g., EMR/EHR systems, patient demographics, clinical data, claims data, hospital operations, HL7/FHIR standards).
* Data Warehousing: Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, including Kimball/Inmon methodologies.
* Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
