This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced Deputy Security Manager to join our team in Western Australia. As part of our ongoing contract with the Department of Justice, we have a rare chance to make a positive impact on the community.
* Oversee staff in the court area ensuring safety and security
* Create and manage duty rosters, including allocating daily tasks and staff
* Maintain close relationships with operational teams that manage the courts
* Liaise with coordinators on all staffing matters
* Ensure effective manning of all courts within the cluster
* Hold a Certificate III in Corrective Services
* Be Control and Restraint qualified
* Possess current Senior First Aid and CPR certification or equivalent
* Demonstrated experience supervising and supporting staff in a custodial environment
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a non-judgmental and empathetic approach to persons in custody, high awareness of safety and security protocols, and the ability to maintain a reasonable level of fitness to undertake the inherent requirements of the role.
