About the role
We’re looking for a qualified painter, experienced decorator, or apprentice with drive to join our growing team on the Sunshine Coast. You’ll be working on premium repaints and restoration projects with a company that values quality, culture, and long-term career growth.
A day in the life at Pether’s
You’ll be part of a tight-knit crew delivering high-end repaints and restoration projects across the Sunshine Coast. We’re all about clean, consistent systems and doing the job right the first time — and that’s made possible by our amazing team.
In your day-to-day, you’ll:
- Tackle premium interior and exterior painting projects (including heritage and timber work)
- Use ServiceM8 daily to keep everything flowing smoothly on site
- Follow clearly defined scopes and prep standards
- Work alongside professional foremen and decorators who take pride in what they do
- Contribute to a site culture that’s tidy, respectful, and safety-conscious
- Be part of a business that sees and values your work — and shows it

- A qualified painter
- A highly experienced decorator
- Or partway through your apprenticeship

We’re also open to bringing on new apprentices who are eager to learn and grow with the business.
You’ll ideally have:
- Some hands-on painting experience (domestic or commercial)
- Solid prep and finishing skills (or a willingness to develop them)
- A driver’s licence and reliable transport
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A good attitude and a clean, professional appearance
