Senior Bookkeeper (Transport Industry Experienced Preferred)
About Us:
We are a well established company operating within the transport and logistics industry. We are seeking a highly experienced and detail‐oriented Senior Bookkeeper to manage and oversee our financial records and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Full-function bookkeeping up to trial balance.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
Accounts payable and receivable management.
Bank, credit card and fuel account reconciliation.
Payroll processing and statutory submission.
Prepare and submit VAT/BAS returns (where applicable).
Assist with month-end and year-end reporting.
Liaise with external accounts and auditors.
Qualifications:
At least 5 years proven bookkeeping experience.
Strong working experience with MYOB (essential).
Experience in the transport and logistic or fleet industry preferred.
Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
