Operates the organisational marketing program, engaging with stakeholders and using analytics to track engagement and performance.Digital Content and Publishing – Leads creation of eSafety’s digital assets and manages eSafety’s digital content strategy. Provides editorial services, managing eSafety’s website as a vehicle for program delivery and user engagement.Media and Corporate Communications – Provides strategic oversight into media management and safeguards organisational reputation. Prepares a full range of media materials including media and communications policies and plans, media releases, blog posts, speeches, social media management and key corporate documents.Delivery – Manages operational delivery, including JIRA workflow management. The team delivers all visual creative and design services; as well as internal communications.About the roleIn this dynamic role, you’ll lead engaging campaigns and content for the Be Connected program and work closely with experts to reach diverse communities—including First Nations, LGBTIQ+, CALD groups, and people with disabilities. You’ll shape impactful messaging, manage projects from strategy to delivery, and use data to drive results.If you're passionate about inclusive communication and making a real difference, this is your chance to shine.As Senior Marketing and Communications Advisor (Safer Communities), you will work with program areas to plan and deliver marketing and communications initiatives that meet eSafety strategic goals to audiences of the Be Connected program and Safer Communities team. You will collaborate with eSafety subject matter experts to understand business objectives and to develop and implement marketing and communications activities that effectively reach and engage audiences.You will drive the content and communications program for Be Connected – planning and delivering monthly email campaigns, social content, campaigns and events as required.You will provide marketing and communications expertise and support for the Safer Communities team to support their objectives aimed at vulnerable Australians and community groups including First Nations, LGBTIQ+, those living with a disability and CALD groups.You will be responsible for managing activity within set budgets and timeframes and reporting on outcomes. You will use data and evidence to inform your plans, setting relevant measures of success for all activities.The key duties of the position include:Developing and delivering innovative and engaging integrated marketing campaigns and projects from ideation to execution, aimed at older Australians and a variety of vulnerable and at-risk audiences including seniors, LGBTIQ+ communities, First Nations communities and those living with Disability.Working collaboratively with eSafety program teams to understand business objectives to deliver marketing and communications initiatives across email communications, social, events and paid campaigns.Defining marketing objectives and evaluating the success of initiatives to present actionable insights and inform future marketing strategy, operations, and tactics.Developing clear, compelling, and engaging content and marketing materials, tailored to specific audiences and within brand guidelines.Working closely with program areas to drive the delivery of strategic events and activations to reach target audiences.Driving content and communications planning and execution for Be Connected and Safer Communities audiences, including copywriting and briefing and managing internal stakeholders and external agencies to deliver creative assets.Chair regular program governance meetings consisting of comms colleagues from the Department of Social Services and a non-for-profit organisation.Build and maintain strong working relationships with external stakeholders across government and industry to deliver relevant and timely marketing campaigns, projects and events.Note: Due to the nature of eSafety’s regulatory scope, occupants in this role may be exposed to content or hear stories about other people’s experiences with online harm or be involved in work on potentially distressing and sensitive topics. Staff have access to support through our Employee Assistance Program and other wellbeing initiatives and training.We are seeking a Senior Marketing and Communications Advisor who demonstrates:Experience planning and delivering successful marketing and communications initiatives that achieve business priorities, including planning, content creation, channel selection, and reporting.Excellent writing and editing skills, with experience managing email campaigns and distributing content across multiple channels including website, email, and social.Experience managing stakeholders and building effective working relationships with colleagues within and outside an organisation. As a trusted expert marketing and communications advisor, you instil trust, professionalism, and credibility in your professional relationships.Demonstrated ability briefing and managing the development of creative assets and marketing materials.A track record of using audience data and insights to inform your planning. You will have audience insights at the core of plans and will always advocate for them.Experience working with digital marketing and analytic tools including Google Analytics and Campaign Monitor or similar.Mandatory qualifications and experience:Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Marketing, or a relevant discipline, with at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role.To be eligible for employment with eSafety, applicants must be Australian citizens.The successful applicant must be able to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance or hold a current security clearance of an appropriate level.
