Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator with proven experience in construction projects. This is a hands-on role for a self-motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment working on local and regional projects.
About The Role
As a Senior Estimator, you will play a critical role in driving project success by providing accurate, timely, and first-principles-based cost estimates. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure that all projects are feasible, profitable, and delivered on budget.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop detailed scope of works to obtain, assess, and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations for competitiveness and compliance.
* Apply first-principles estimating to ensure accuracy and reliability of project costs.
* Analyze project drawings, specifications, and scope to identify cost drivers and risks.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a Senior Estimator in NPI, Construction, Mining Maintenance, manufacturing or industrial construction projects.
* Strong knowledge of first-principles estimating and cost breakdown methodologies.
* Experience managing full project life cycle estimating from concept to completion.
