Our client is seeking an experienced full-time Grader Operator to join their civil construction team on Perth metro, site-based projects. This is a full-time opportunity working across local roads, residential subdivisions, car parks and urban civil infrastructure works. This role is strictly metro civil construction. Not FIFO or mining haul roads. This position will suit a skilled operator who takes pride in precision work, understands tight tolerances, and works well as part of a collaborative site team. What you’ll be doing: Operating road graders to produce accurate final trim surfaces to project specifications Working closely with supervisors, operators and site crews to deliver quality civil outcomes Interpreting grade sheets, levels and engineering drawings Completing pre-start checks and carrying out routine plant maintenance, reporting any faults Operating plant safely in line with site safety procedures and traffic management plans Maintaining daily records including timesheets, plant checks and work completed Communicating clearly on site to support smooth workflow and productivity What you’ll need: Proven experience as a Final Trim Grader Operator Valid Grader Operator ticket Strong Perth metropolitan civil construction experience (roads, subdivisions, car parks – not mining haul roads) Ability to achieve millimetre-accurate finishes for sealing, paving and kerbing A strong eye for levels, fall and drainage Confidence reading and working from civil drawings, grade sheets, set-out marks and stringlines Sound understanding of road camber, crossfall and tie-ins Experience working in live traffic environments, residential subdivisions and commercial sites Awareness of kerb lines, pits, services and surrounding infrastructure Experience with machine control systems (GPS / UTS) is desirable, with the ability to work both with and without machine control Strong safety awareness, including pre-starts, JHAs and Take-5s Reliable, level-headed, and friendly approach on site What’s in it for you: Full-time, Perth metro site-based work Consistent civil projects with no FIFO requirements A professional, safety-focused site environment The opportunity to work on well-run urban infrastructure projects How to apply: To complete your application for this position please click on the "APPLY" button.
