About the role
This position drives strategic, value-generating procurement practice organisation wide, developing and implementing category strategies, engaging with operational leaders to ensure alignment with business needs and supplier performance.
About you
With prior leadership experience in procurement and category management you'll be seeking a position that empowers you to build strategies, solutions and outcomes that drive financial and operational outcomes. With strong stakeholder partnering you'll be able to manage multiple project deliverables, innovate and influence to achieve sustainable outcomes. Your key experience will include:
* Extensive experience in Strategic Procurement and Logistics, in a supply-facing procurement role, as a buyer, category lead or contract management role
* Strong experience in stakeholder engagement with robust communication, influencing and negotiation skills
* Ability to effectively partner with operational teams to identify needs, develop and implement solutions
* Demonstrated experience collaboratively develop and prepare reporting, excellent skills utilising online systems & platforms including strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (particularly Excel)
* Experience in embedding continuous improvements across practice, systems and process with excellent problem-solving skills
* National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
