About us

Springmount Services is a 100% Australian owned and operated integrated services company with over 1900 staff nationwide, and we are currently on the lookout for Security personnel who share our commitment to service excellence and care.

We have a Full-Time position, and a Part Time position available in the Gold Coast area and we are looking for experienced and licensed Security Control Room Operators who are passionate about delivering a great experience to our customers with every interaction.

The position is primarily responsible for CCTV monitoring while providing support and guidance to the staff on the ground as part of an asset protection team and dealing with members of the public. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all our customers, and you will also build strong relationships with your internal stakeholders and the client.

These are permanent roles with combination of the following shifts: ; and potentially hrs including weekday and weekend shifts.

About the role

Control Room Operator

Duties include, but are not limited to:

* Monitoring/use of CCTV systems on a large scale

* Incident reporting processes

* Access control- swipe card-control- key issuing

* Maintaining logbooks/registers

* Liaise with different stake holders

* Use of electronic controlling systems and 2-way radios

* Use of Fire Control Systems/Platforms

* Use of Microsoft Suite and other software to conduct daily tasks.

* Perform various admin tasks

* Knowledge of Milestone CCTV software would be highly regarded.

To be successful in these roles, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

* Hold a current QLD Security Licence

* Be able to remain focused on tasks on hand

* Be able to work under pressure with minimal or no supervision

* Attention to details

* Current Senior First Aid certificate

* Exceptional communication, both verbal and written

* Ability to complete precise reports and communicate efficiently

* Excellent Computer skills using Microsoft Office products

* Appropriate professional presentation

* Work as part of a team

* Great communication skills
