UTS is strengthening its advancement program as part of an exciting period of renewal and growth. With a clear aspiration to deepen alumni and philanthropic engagement and build enduring, values led relationships, the Alumni & Philanthropy Unit (APU) is reimagining its structure, refreshing the way we work, and rebuilding a number of roles. Reflecting our ambition to deliver a contemporary, high impact, partnership driven model, we have completed a bold redesign of how we partner with alumni, donors, faculties, divisions and external stakeholders. About the Role

The Alumni Partnership Manager supports coordinated alumni partnerships across the University, working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to deliver targeted, strategic and measured alumni relationship building aligned to both alumni interest and institutional priorities. The role contributes to the development and delivery of agreed alumni engagement plans and programs that strengthen alumni relationships and participation in university programs.

Role responsibilities include:

* Develop and collaboratively implement annual Partner Alumni Engagement Plans with assigned Faculties or Divisions.
* Build and sustain relationships with alumni and friends to support engagement, ambassador development and philanthropic pipelines.
* In partnership with Director, Alumni Engagement lead the collaboration with key alumni stakeholders through structured alumni committees and boards.
* Contribute to flagship alumni programs and targeted re?connection campaigns in partnership with colleagues and Faculties.
* Identify and curate engagement opportunities arising from Faculty and Divisional activities and coordinate their delivery through core alumni programs.
* Act as a liaison with Faculties and Divisions to embed alumni engagement into planning and operations.
* Manage an assigned portfolio of alumni and maintain accurate CRM records and engagement reporting.
* Represent the Alumni & Philanthropy Unit at internal meetings and selected events and forums.

About You

Skills, attributes and knowledge

* Ability to design and deliver strategic alumni or stakeholder engagement initiatives aligned to organisational priorities.
* Strong relationship management skills with senior internal stakeholders and external partners.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of briefings, presentations and reports.
* Project planning and coordination skills across multiple stakeholders and initiatives.
* Analytical capability to interpret engagement data and inform planning and reporting.
* Knowledge of alumni relations, advancement and stakeholder engagement in a complex organisation.

Experience

* Minimum 7 years' experience in alumni relations, advancement, stakeholder engagement or a related field.
* Experience working across a complex organisation with multiple Faculties or business units.
* Experience developing and delivering alumni engagement plans, programs or events.
* Experience managing alumni or stakeholder portfolios and maintaining CRM records.

Qualifications

Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and extensive relevant experience.

What We Offer

Base Salary Range: $120,827 - $137,609 (HEW8) plus 17% superannuation (pension)

The position is full time and will be made on a continuing basis.
