Perioperative Registered Nurse Program
This program offers a 12-month opportunity for new graduates to transition from student to confident, capable Theatre Registered Nurse.
The program focuses on Scrub/Scout nursing, where you'll play a vital role in the operating theatre, learning how to scrub, gown, and glove for surgical procedures, while assisting in the preparation and coordination of care as a key member of the surgical team.
You'll develop technical skills, clinical knowledge, and teamwork essential for supporting surgeons and maintaining patient safety throughout every procedure. You'll be guided by experienced mentors who are committed to helping you succeed.

About the Role:

Requirements:
* You must be eligible for registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nurses and Midwives Registration Board (AHPRA), including meeting English language requirements.
* You must hold Australian Citizenship or a visa allowing full-time employment in Australia, without regional restrictions.
* You must be able to commit to a minimum of 32 hours per week on a rotating roster.
* You must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and proficiency in verbal and written communication.
* You must have up-to-date clinical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
* You must have graduated with a Bachelor of Nursing within 12 months of the program start date.
* You must be capable of collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team and understand professional, ethical, and legal standards in healthcare.
