We are seeking a reliable, motivated and self-driven team member to join Integrated Flooring Solutions. This role is ideal for someone studying construction, or anyone with previous construction or warehouse experience who wants to grow their skills in project delivery, estimating, and site operations.
About the Role
* This is a diverse position involving a mix of warehouse operations, forklift operation, administrative support, and project assistance across our commercial flooring projects.
* You will work both independently and as part of a small, fast-paced team, supporting day-to-day operations and helping deliver flooring projects across the ACT.
Key Responsibilities
* Warehouse & On-Site Duties
* Operate forklifts (LF licence preferred) and manage incoming/outgoing materials
* Maintain warehouse organisation, storage, and stock control
* Prepare materials and equipment for site deliveries
* Assist with take-up, preparation and basic flooring tasks as required (training provided)
Office & Administration
* Create quotes and estimates for flooring projects
* Assist with take-offs and measurements (floor plans + on-site)
* Data entry, scheduling, and email communication
* Coordinate deliveries, suppliers, and subcontractors
* Assist with project paperwork including SWMS, ITPs, warranties, registers, etc.
* Project Management Support
* Support delivery of commercial flooring projects from start to finish
* Attend site visits to measure, document, and liaise with site supervisors
* Track project progress, variations and material requirements
* Ensure safety and compliance processes are followed
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
* Able to work without supervision and manage their own workload
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Confident using computers (Outlook, Excel, basic apps, etc.)
* Eligible to work in Australia with appropriate work rights
* Comfortable communicating with builders, suppliers, and site teams
* Physically capable of warehouse/manual handling duties
* Positive, reliable and eager to learn the flooring trade and construction processes
Desirable Skills & Qualifications
(Not essential—training is provided)
* Forklift Licence (LF)
* Experience in construction, warehouse, logistics, or trades
* Basic understanding of measurements, take-offs, or estimating
* Current driver's licence
* Studying construction / project management / building trades
