As a key member of the IT procurement team, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the management of sourcing and purchasing activity across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Engage with stakeholders to align on requirements, priorities, and work plans, particularly within the IT category.
* Engage with current and potential suppliers to understand the external environment, including technology trends and industry best practice.
* Negotiate and arrange the best value goods and services to meet organisational needs by considering cost, quality, functionality, and sustainability while evaluating availability, time, effort to source, and costs to manage the supplier.
* Conduct a comprehensive commercial assessment of the Indirect/IT category to identify efficiencies and opportunities to deliver value.
* Work with internal stakeholders to validate identified opportunities and develop recommendations for improvement.
* Ensure compliance with organisational risk and governance framework.
About You:
* You will bring your extensive procurement knowledge and expertise to the team and identify opportunities to deliver value to the business.
* Sound knowledge and proven experience in commercial procurement practices.
* Procurement experience within the IT category is highly desirable.
* CIPS accreditation is advantageous. Strong commercial acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills are also essential.
* Self-motivated individuals able to work independently are preferred.
* Mature stakeholder management skills with the ability to understand and communicate business requirements are necessary.
