Purpose
As Food & Beverage Manager you will assume full responsibility for managing every facet of our food and beverage department encompassing areas such as the restaurant, bar, banqueting, and events. Primary Responsibilities
* Oversee all operational aspects of the Food & Beverage Department and develop innovative and insightful strategies for optimising guest experience and revenue growth opportunities
* Leverage your extensive expertise to guide and mentor your team, ensuring they consistently craft memorable moments
* Collaborate closely with the Head / Executive Chef in creating menus, wine lists, and beverage offerings
* Manage all administrative and planning aspects of the department, including but not limited to scheduling, reporting, package and promotion development, recruitment, personnel management, inventory management, and ordering
Skills and Experience
* Prior experience as either a Food & Beverage Manager or Assistant Food & Beverage Manager
* Robust leadership skills to engage, inspire, and cultivate your team, fostering a positive workplace atmosphere
* Proven track record in managing budgets, overseeing inventory, and creating staff schedules
* Effective communicator with adept skills in stakeholder management, both internally and externally
* Flexibility to accommodate a varied work schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
* Exceptional organisational skills with a knack for prioritisation and a keen sense of urgency
* Demonstrated ability to maintain composure and effectiveness when faced with high-pressure situations
* Possession of a valid RSA or an equivalent qualification for the specific Country / State / Territory
