Catering Assistant Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated Catering Assistant to join our team at Gracehaven Aged Care in Bundaberg. This permanent part-time role offers job security and the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents.
About the Role
* Assist in the preparation of meals for our residents
* Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment
* Service meals, including setting up and cleaning the dining room, trolleys and trays
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to be an enthusiastic and reliable worker who is able to work effectively as part of a team. You will also need to have compassion for the elderly and be passionate about maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for our residents.
Requirements
* Certificate II in Kitchen Operations or similar (desired but not essential)
* Experience working in aged care or commercial kitchens (desired)
* Ability to work a variety of shifts across a 7-day week
* Current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire one)
