We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in Australia. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional who has a proven track record of success in their territory and wants to make a significant impact on the growth of our company.


About the Position

This role will be based in Canberra, where you will work closely with the executive team to develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that meets and exceeds revenue targets.

You will be responsible for prospecting new accounts, generating interest, qualifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities. You will also be expected to work independently to meet and exceed revenue targets and goals assigned to your territory.

Key Responsibilities Include:

* Prospecting new accounts and generating interest through consultative selling.
* Qualifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities.
* Developing an overall account strategy leading to the deployment of a well-executed selling effort into the assigned territory/accounts.
* Focusing on new accounts, customer satisfaction, and retention.
* Partner engagement and joint GTM outcomes.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

* A minimum of 7 years' experience in selling cybersecurity and networking technologies, including network security technologies such as Proxies, Next Generation Firewalls (NGFW), SSL/IPSec, VPNs, SSO, DLP, and Encryption gateways.
* Knowledge of whole-of-government IT reforms, security frameworks (Essential 8, PSPF, ISM etc).
* Strong understanding of Federal Government procurement frameworks, panels, and decision-making processes.
* An established network of customer relationships within Federal Government Departments and Agencies.
* An exceptional track record of success with consultative sales of complex enterprise software solutions to C-level executives in the Federal Government.
* A verifiable track record of exceeding quotas year after year.
* Residency in the targeted geography with local enterprise customer relationships.
* Experience establishing and fostering strong Channel Partner relationships.
* Pre-existing relationships with key resellers in the assigned territory is a must.
* Understanding of enterprise web technologies and SaaS experience is a must.
* Resides in Canberra, ACT.
* Travel: within region and occasional interstate travel.
