This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead significant infrastructure projects from conception to completion.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Major Works team on an initial six-month contract with likely extensions, delivering capital works programs across multiple power generation facilities.
Based in Ipswich, this role will involve leading project strategy and planning for major capital works activities, defining scope, goals, milestones, and deliverables.
The successful candidate will have proven experience managing technical personnel, consultants, and contractors, as well as excellent planning and project management capabilities with a focus on safety and quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities
 1. Develop and implement project strategies and plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
 2. Manage procurement processes, engaging suitable design, build, and implementation partners.
 3. Apply proven project management frameworks and methodologies throughout project lifecycles.
 4. Cordinate multiple work fronts during project execution while maintaining HSEQT requirements.
 5. Engage stakeholders at all organisational levels, providing regular progress reports and updates.

About You
 * Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) degree.
 * Proven experience managing technical personnel, consultants, and contractors.
 * Highly developed interpersonal, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills.
 * Excellent planning and project management capabilities with focus on safety and quality delivery.
 * Strong technical proficiency in project management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and Enterprise Asset Management tools (MS Project and SAP experience preferred).
 * Demonstrated commercial skills in procurement negotiations and contractor management.
 * Ability to quickly adapt to new processes, technologies, and changing priorities.
