The Rehabilitation Services Unit at MCH is a dedicated 12-bed sub-acute facility committed to delivering exceptional rehabilitation care to patients across the North West region. Our focus is on supporting patients to regain function and independence to improve quality of life post injury or disability. Our team consists of a Rehabilitation consultant, Allied Health professionals, Rehabilitation nurses and Rehabilitation assistants.
The Role:
As a Registered Nurse in our Rehabilitation Unit, you will:
* Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to patients with complex rehabilitation needs
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised care plans
* Provide education and support to patients and their families
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence
* Engage in ongoing professional development and leadership opportunities
You will need
* Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Proven experience working in an In-Charge capacity

Details of appointment:
Fixed term, part time, shift worker (fully rotational) position, working up to 40 hours per fortnight, 30 March 2025 until 4 October 2025.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $78,179 to $105,995 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
* Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
* Access to the Grade 4 salary range $99,455- $105,995 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
* Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type
