The Role
With key responsibility areas of Inventory Management, general administration and reporting, as well as Construction Employee support, some of the key duties will include (but not be limited to):
Monitor and assist to ensure all compliance documentation is completed accurately and promptly, such as daily pre-starts, Compliance documentation, Pre and Post Rental Inspection report filing etc
Support in depth analysis of productivity of resources across the department by gathering data from multiple sources (people, programs, plant & equipment) and supporting the leaders in compiling information into valuable report formats
Proactively support the Construction team with ensuring prompt and accurate timesheet completion – including ensuring leave entries are completed on time, hours are allocated to relevant job & activity codes, while also providing backup support to employees on how to access pay slips and update personal details in the online payroll platform.
Work closely with Stores and Procurement representatives for the purpose of stock ordering, allocation and maintaining accurate inventory
Partner with other representatives to ensure delivery of required stock takes
Provide support to the Construction team to ensure prompt reporting and management of hazards and incidents
Ideal Candidate
Candidates may be considered for the role if they have:
A minimum of 3 years experience within a building/construction role
Possess an understanding of rollform & light steel fabrication & techniques or be willing to learn.
Current NT Drivers licence and Construction Induction White Card
Extensive experience, and comfortable regularly working with Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel and outlook
Previous experience and comfortable utilizing various business platforms (WHS systems, Asset Management systems etc)
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, utilizing initiative to work through matters independently, whilst thriving off strong communication and creating connections with teams
Previous experience in a Modular Transportable Building operation would be advantageous, as would previous rollforming fabrication and assembly works. In addition, we consider holding a Carpentry Trade or Cert IV in Building Construction very beneficial for this role.
