What You'll Be Doing
* Managing rates, receivables, and property administration, including valuations, interim rating, ownership changes, concessions, rebates, and pensioner applications.
* Financial administration skills, including raising accounts, processing payments, refunds, credits, direct debits, and credit card transactions.
* Managing debtor accounts, debt recovery processes, settlement enquiries, and legal recovery process through Magistrates Court.
* Administering waste management services, including commercial and on‐demand waste, bins, bulk runs, and associated billing.
* Managing underground power accounts, instalment notices, interim ratings, and annual charges.
* High level of accuracy in data entry, record maintenance, data integrity checks, and system‐based processing, including use of external customer portals.
* Work collaboratively within a team, provide back‐up support to other officers, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
* Provide responsive, professional customer service by managing and resolving a high volume of enquiries, balancing competing priorities, and ensuring service requests are completed within agreed timeframes.
