Family Violence Response Specialist
Focused on delivering comprehensive support to victim-survivors of family violence, this role necessitates a high degree of professionalism and empathy. As a member of a dynamic multidisciplinary team at the Orange Door, you will contribute to creating a safe environment for those affected by family violence.
The primary objective of this position is to provide initial assessments, short-term responses, and referrals for Family Violence Victim Survivors. This involves triage, screening, and risk identification, all while adhering to the Multi-Agency Risk Assessment and Management (MARAM) Framework. Collaboration with other service providers is essential in ensuring that information sharing aligns with current legislation.
To succeed in this challenging yet rewarding role, you must possess a Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent. A proven track record in practice experience with family violence, child wellbeing, and working with diverse communities is also crucial. Moreover, extensive knowledge of family violence frameworks is vital for effective service delivery.
