Join the team at Gold Coast Private Hospital as a Food Services Assistant! We are looking for experienced professionals to bring their skills to our team on a casual basis. Key Details
* Casual positions available
* 7‐day rotating roster – AM and PM shifts
* $27.39 to $33.41 per hour plus super + 25% casual loading
* Discounted meals and parking
Shift Times
* AM shift – 5:45am – 2:30pm
* PM shifts – 2:30pm – 9:00pm and 4:30pm – 9:00pm
Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional customer/patient service by preparing and serving food throughout the facility, including setting up, plating, and distributing food and beverages, and participating in food safety processes.
* Assist in general cleaning of kitchen equipment and utensils, including dish and pot washing as required.
* Act as a valued member of an interdisciplinary team by promoting a professional and positive team culture, communicating and offering help to team members, and liaising with other staff to create an experience that makes a difference.
* Be comfortable working with equipment such as food trolleys and carrying food trays.
Essential Criteria
* Authority to work in Australia
* Experience in healthcare/hospitality (preferred)
* Working with Children check (if relevant)
* Commitment to service excellence
* Strong time‐management and prioritisation skills
* Excellent communication and customer service abilities
* Keen attention to detail
* Work well independently and within a team
* Available for on‐call shifts
