Job Description
Maintain, service, and repair our pioneering reverse vending machine installations and bulk processing equipment within your area of Tasmania to ensure maximum machine uptime and customer satisfaction. This role will focus on conveyors, sensors, motors, mobile comms, and other equipment. Driving between locations is a significant part of the role & so a clean driving record & love for being on the road is essential. This is a highly autonomous position that would suit someone who enjoys working independently and is a highly motivated self-starter. The successful candidate will be placed on a rotating roster which will include weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
* Servicing and maintaining installed equipment
* Reporting on service assignments and faults
* Installing kiosks and bulk processing equipment at new sites
* Providing excellent customer service to our partners and members of the public
* Analysing areas of potential improvement of products and reporting to the local service team
* Cleaning of equipment
Requirements:
To be a successful Field Service Technician, you will have:
* Electrical / Electronic Trade Certificate III OR Disconnect-Reconnect Certificate OR Appliance/ Mechanical Trade background OR Comparable experience on electrical/mechanical equipment
* Previous experience with operating systems, installing software, networking, and mobile telecommunications
* Previous experience interacting face-to-face with customers
* Strong diagnostic and analytical capabilities, especially in relation to mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment
* Experience in troubleshooting electronic equipment and replacing circuit boards, sensors, and other electronic components of the RVM
* Unrestricted driver's license and willingness to submit a full driving history record
* Ability to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends
