Job Title: Quality Improvement Specialist
Overview:
As a Quality Improvement Specialist, you will play a key role in driving impactful quality improvement initiatives across our health service.
Responsibilities:
* Coordinating and conducting clinical and organisational audits
* Supporting accreditation processes (RACGP, ISO, NDIS)
* Developing audit schedules, reports, and quality dashboards
* Embedding quality improvement into strategic and operational planning
* Providing culturally safe feedback mechanisms to clients and community
Requirements:
You must hold current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) or be eligible to register. Additionally, you will need an unrestricted manual driver's licence, First Aid Certificate, and necessary clearances to work with vulnerable people.
Desirable Qualifications:
A Graduate Diploma in a clinical or relevant field, proven success in clinical governance, quality systems, or CQI in a healthcare setting, strong analytical skills, experience interpreting data to inform practice, ability to educate staff and lead cultural change through evidence-based practice, demonstrated understanding of Aboriginal health issues and culturally safe care.
