Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Fire and Security Systems Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing tailored fire and security solutions for residential homes and business premises in New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing reliable and cost-effective sales, service, and maintenance of fire alarms, fire detectors, automatic door and gate operator systems, intelligent home automation solutions, CCTV, and integrated access control
* Installing new fire and security systems
* Upgrading existing fire and security systems
* Maintaining fire and security control systems
* Planning and designing security systems, including alarms, smart home panels, intercoms, access control, and CCTV
* Examining fire and security systems to diagnose faults
* Repairing equipment and replacing defective parts
* Educating customers on operating procedures
* Attending customer services
Requirements:
* Certificate III or higher with at least 2 years of on-the-job training or Certificate IV
* At least 1 year of highly relevant experience or 3 years of experience without formal qualification
* Expert knowledge as a Fire Technician and Security Technician
* Sound knowledge of systems, equipment, and products
* Expertise in installing, repairing, and maintaining fire and security systems
* Good customer service skills
