The Role Reporting to the National Service Manager, this hands-on position is responsible for commissioning, maintaining, and repairing advanced chiller systems and related equipment. 90% of the role is diagnostics, so this will require someone who has a troubleshooting mindset. You will work independently, and as part of a team, across customer sites, ensuring critical systems perform at their best. Whether you’re carrying out commissioning, scheduled servicing, or responding to urgent breakdowns, your technical expertise and customer focus will make a real impact. This role is due to expansion, and have very strong growth focus for the future. Key Responsibilities • Commissioning, installing, maintaining, and repairing advanced chiller systems • Fault-finding, diagnostics, and delivering solutions to customers in a timely manner • Providing specialist assistance and advice beyond defect liability periods • Identifying and communicating technical issues to management and contributing to resolutions • Completing service reports, maintaining accurate records, and supporting stock management • Participating in breakdown repairs, including some after-hours work when required • Maintaining company equipment, vehicle, and property in excellent condition • Ensuring safe work practices are followed at all times • Interstate and occasional global travel may be required Hours Full-time permanent role | Monday to Friday | Overtime and travel as required Key Requirements • Australian trade certificate in refrigeration and air-conditioning • Unrestricted refrigeration handling licence (ARC) • Restricted electrical licence – D • Valid full driver’s licence • Current White card and Working With Children Check (or must be prepared to get). • Experience working on chillers • Strong understanding of refrigeration and air conditioning principles • Building management system/controls knowledge (desirable) • OEM-specific training (advantageous) • Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Key Benefits • Company vehicle (or vehicle allowance) – Start from home and finish at home. • Structured onboarding and training opportunities • Variety, autonomy, and ownership in your day-to-day work • Supportive team culture with a focus on safety and quality • Opportunities for interstate and international travel Please note ONLY Australian Citizen / NZ and Permanent residents will be considered In the first instance please apply online for additional questions please call Julie Hendeson 029891 7418 At Elements Recruitment we exist to help people find the right place and help businesses grow with the right people.
