* Identifying performance benchmarks, gaps and improvement opportunities, and supporting consistent implementation of enhanced procedures and systems across the state.
* Promoting best practice through the development, coaching and training of staff.
* Managing the planning, development and delivery of network management projects in collaboration with the Principal Advisor and key stakeholders.
* Supervising and coordinating resources to foster teamwork and build a high-performing, engaged workforce.
* Preparing and reviewing reports, disruption plans, correspondence, and contract and procurement documentation.
* Supporting District and Regional disruptive event management teams (DEMT) across all phases of major events including planning, response and recovery.

About You

We value diversity of experience and perspective and are seeking someone who can bring both capability and potential to the role.

Mandatory Conditions

* Participation in an on-call roster (7 days, approximately once every 6 weeks), with occasional after-hours, weekend or public holiday work as required.
* Ability to travel based on operational needs.
* A criminal history check will be conducted prior to appointment.

To Succeed In This Role, You Will Demonstrate

* Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to collaborate to deliver client-focused outcomes.
* Sound judgement and decision-making, particularly when managing planned and unplanned network events.
* Effective planning and organisation skills, including the ability to prioritise work and contribute to operational and procedural improvements.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to a range of audiences.
* Leadership capability, including coaching, mentoring and fostering an inclusive, safe team environment.
* Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and making informed, insightful decisions in complex environments.

We Can Offer You Benefits Such As

* Work and life balance through a tailored and personal flexible work arrangement.
* A 36.25-hour work week and generous superannuation of 12.75%.
* An Enterprise Bargaining Agreement providing regular pay increases and other benefits.
* Paid parental leave for eligible employees and more.
* A range of development opportunities including unlimited use of LinkedIn Learning.
* Access to an Employee Assistance Program.
