Please note: This role requires someone based in Perth and is field-based, with 4–5 days per week on the road attending face-to-face appointments across WA and SA.


Job Description

Montu is looking for a driven and relationship-focused Business Development / Key Account Manager to help grow our GP network and bring best-in-class treatment options to patients in Western Australia & South Australia.

You'll be the face of Montu in the field, building strong partnerships with clinics, educating doctors on our latest offerings, and ensuring we're always meeting their evolving needs.

This is a highly impactful role, suited to someone who thrives on the road, loves talking to people, and knows how to connect commercial outcomes with better patient care.

What you'll be doing:

Relationship Building & Customer Support

* Build strong, lasting relationships with GPs and clinics.
* Understand each partner's unique needs and align them with Montu's offerings.
* Provide prompt, professional support to ensure partner satisfaction.
* Collaborate closely with internal teams to resolve issues quickly and keep communication flowing.

Clinical & Product Support

* Confidently respond to clinical questions and share evidence-based insights.
* Provide guidance on the appropriate use of therapies and navigate questions around off-label use.
* Bring field insights back into the business to inform product, marketing, and medical affairs teams.

Commercial Growth & Strategy

* Share market intelligence and partner feedback to shape Montu's commercial strategy.
* Partner with internal teams (sales, marketing, regulatory, etc.) to align on goals and priorities.
* Track and report on activity, forecasting, and progress against targets.
* Meet (and exceed) goals across meetings, sales, and customer satisfaction.


Qualifications

We're looking for someone with a true hunter mentality, driven to seek out and win new business, grow market presence, and uncover fresh opportunities every day.

The ideal candidate will be:

* A confident communicator who builds trust and influence easily in healthcare environments.
* Experienced in field sales, business development, or account management—ideally within fast-moving, short sales cycle industries.
* Self-motivated and proactive, with a track record of delivering results while working independently on the road.
* A natural team player, equally at ease in front of clients and when collaborating cross-functionally to share insights and drive strategy.
* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly (4–5 days per week).
