We’re looking for a Facility & Grounds Officer to ensure the smooth upkeep of both the interior and exterior of our health unit. About the Role: Reporting daily to the Director of Nursing and Midwifery, the Facility and Grounds Officer will be responsible for a range of general maintenance duties including rubbish collection, carpentry, painting, plumbing, mechanical work, and grounds upkeep. Your work will play a key role in creating a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. What We’re Looking For: Trade qualifications or trade equivalent skills in a relevant trade. Proven experience in building and ground maintenance. Demonstrated experience in the use of a wide range of power tools. Experience in the use of computer packages e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel. Proven experience in exercising own judgment and initiative in the day to day execution of a position.
