The Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Site Engineer to drive engineering excellence on-site and in the yard. You will coordinate complex operations, manage critical project documentation, and work closely with clients, operational teams, and our home office engineering department. This role operates on a FIFO (Perth) 2 weeks on and 1 week roster, offering focused periods on-site balanced with extended time at home.
What You will Do:
* Update, review, and manage project documentation, drawings, procedures, and deliverables registers.
* Maintain documentation status, including management of change and latest approved procedures.
* Directly communicate with client representatives on engineering and operational matters.
* Prepare project schedules and detailed operation timelines in collaboration with Project Site Manager, Operations Manager, and Yard Manager.
* Conduct route surveys for Self-Propelled Modular Transporters (SPMTs) and identify preconditions for safe project execution.
* Coordinate engineering activities on-site and in the yard, maintaining clear communication with the home office and client engineering teams.
* Support site supervision of lifting, transport, and load-out activities.
* Ensure technical information is exchanged accurately, documentation is up-to-date, and deliverables are communicated to all relevant parties.
* Facilitate proper coordination between engineering, operational teams, subcontractors, and third parties during project execution.
* Manage engineering change processes in collaboration with on-site teams and the home office.
* Assist operational teams during route surveys and prepare reports for clients or civil authorities to enable project progress.
What You Bring:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Offshore Engineering, Naval Architecture, or related field.
* Hands-on experience with SPMT and Ro-Ro operations.
* Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Full working rights in Australia.
* Exceptional English communication skills (written & verbal).
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Positive, solution-focused attitude under pressure.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
