This position is responsible for sales growth of all NEWAYproducts business within Australia/ New Zealand region for NEWAY with direct responsibility of distributors/agents in the region. This position is based in Brisbane or Perth.
Main Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain strategic level relationships with mainly new and to some extend with existing customers
* Visit potential customers to for new business prospect
* Develop profitable new business and growing share in the existing customer base
* Meet a defined sales target to achieve and operate within established policy guidelines
* Maintain and develop existing customers through high levels of service in order to expand and strengthen the relationship
* Manage (complex) sales cycles from lead to closure
* Gather market price and competitor positioning data and input to the strategic planning process.
* Prepare and implement business plan
* Develop and maintain high level relationships at Distributor/Agent accounts.
* Act as a senior contact between Neway Valve and customers
* Communicate customer needs and requirements to internal departments
* Negotiate the terms of an agreement and closing sales
* Gather leads and market /customer information
* Track quotes and provide monthly updates to Management.

Qualifications/Requirement
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent degree/field experience required.
* At least 5-10 years of sales engineering experience preferably with valves, actuator and oil & gas industry.
* Excellent communications and coordination skills and a motivated team player with clear leadership, strategic planning and execution skills.
* Proficient with computers, Microsoft software and ERP System.
* Good communication skill, presentation skills and able to liaise with factory.
* Candidate should be open to travel 50% plus of the time.
* Must have work right in Australia.
* Fluent in English both in speaking and writing.
