Your Role
As Team Leader – Building, you'll lead and manage the Development Services Building Team to deliver high-quality building and construction services.
You'll champion a positive culture, mentor staff, and ensure compliance with the Planning, Development and Infrastructure Act.
Your leadership will drive efficiency, innovation, and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership and rebuild team structure to enhance performance and morale
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
Oversee building consent processes and ensure legislative compliance
Deliver expert advice to Council, customers, and staff
Manage projects and supervise staff and consultants
What We're Looking For
Degree or Postgraduate qualification in Building Surveying or Construction Management
Accredited Professional Building Level 1 (or eligible) under the PDI Act Accreditation Scheme
Strong leadership skills with a passion for culture building and team development
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
