About the role
We are currently seeking applications for a Gardening & Home Maintenance Worker. The purpose of this role is to provide gardening and maintenance services to seniors and to help them stay in their own homes longer.
Essential Requirements:
* Previous experience in gardening is required;
* Proven experience in the use of Powered gardening equipment
* Fantastic customer service skills;
* Providing support and guidance to volunteers of varying skills and abilities;
* A team player;
* Good communication skills are written, interpersonal and verbal;
* Basic computer and paperwork skills;
* A safety-first approach to ensure safety and wellbeing of yourself, clients, and the team;
* Willing and able to keep up with the demands of the physical demands of a gardening role;
* A Certificate in Horticulture or similar would be an advantage but not essential;
Prerequisites
A NDIS Worker Screening Check
Current Drivers License
Rights to work in Australia
Current First Aid Certificate with 12 months or less currency (or willing to apply)
