Day in the life:
- Design end-to-end solutions that meet business requirements and align with Enterprise Architecture standards.
- Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, resilient, and cost‑effective.
- Define and document technical architectures, data flows, and integration points.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work with business stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, developers, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
Technology Leadership:
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development and infrastructure teams.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations aligned with strategic goals.
Governance & Standards:
- Ensure solutions comply with Enterprise Architecture principles, security standards, and IT governance.
- Maintain architecture documentation and support architectural review processes.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to improve system performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Contribute to IT strategic planning and road‑mapping activities.
Project Support:
- Support project estimation, planning, and delivery activities.
- Assist with issue resolution, risk identification, and mitigation strategies.
Qualifications:
- 7–10 years in IT architecture, with proven experience in solution design, integration, and implementation.
- 5+ years as a contract or vendor manager.
- Strong focus on infrastructure architecture, particularly networks and telephony.
- Good knowledge of design thinking principles.
- Broad knowledge of IT technologies and vendors, coupled with the ability to promote and explain new developments to technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- TOGAF, AWS/Azure Solution Architect, ITIL, or relevant industry certifications.
