About the Opportunity
The Technical Data Administrator (TDA) supports the Configuration Management Officer within the Configuration Management Team, ensuring project technical data is accurate, accessible, and compliant. The role requires both independent work and teamwork, with responsibility for applying knowledge of Document Control, Document Management, and Technical Data Management software. While guidance is provided, the TDA is expected to show initiative, attention to detail, and accountability in contributing to the success of configuration management processes and projects.
What's Involved
* Contribute to the strategy, planning, and implementation of Configuration Management.
* Assist stakeholders through analysis, reporting, coordination, and issue management within the Configuration Management Team (CMT).
* Provide timely responses and recommendations to support requests, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
* Identify and manage the resolution of system malfunctions to maintain operational effectiveness.
* Seek opportunities to reduce costs and enhance data integrity through new processes or technology.
You'll Need:
* Recognised qualification in Document Control, or minimum 2 years' experience in document control, records management, or related field.
* Experience with Configuration Management Tools (CMT) and/or Product Lifecycle Management Tools (PLM).
* Experience or exposure to Defence projects.
* Relevant maritime industry experience.
* Experience with Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
