We’re now looking for a standout individual with strong trade background and commercial mindset to lead the quoting and sales front, take charge of customer relationships, and work directly with the Managing Director to shape how the business grows.
The Role: Own the Front End. Lead the Growth.
As our Sales & Quoting Manager, you’ll be the first point of contact for our inbound client base — from homeowners to strata managers to renovators. You’ll assess the job, quote the works, build trust, and close the sale.
This isn’t a cold calling role — we generate a steady flow of qualified inbound leads through marketing, Google, referrals, and long-standing repeat clients. Your role is to convert and profitably grow .
You’ll report directly to the owners and play a hands-on role in driving margin, shaping customer experience, and influencing commercial decisions across the business.
Responsibilities
Attend booked client leads and scope a range of residential works (switchboards, lighting, air con, EV chargers, renovations, fault finding, compliance, etc.)
Prepare and submit accurate, profitable quotes on-site with client
Build rapport, explain options, and confidently close sales
Identify upsell opportunities and ensure margin is maintained
Hit clear KPIs: quote conversion, average job value, turnaround time, margin
Liaise with scheduling/admin and operations to ensure smooth delivery
Provide regular feedback to the Managing Director on performance, lead flow, trends, and commercial wins/losses
About You
Former electrician, estimator, or someone with strong knowledge of residential electrical work
You know how to walk into a home, assess the job, and have the right conversation
You’re confident with numbers and can hold margin-focused pricing discussions
You want ownership and autonomy — not just a “job” but a seat at the table
You’re ready to be measured and rewarded – you thrive on hitting targets
You’re professional, polished, and reliable with excellent communication
Strong tech confidence (quoting software, emails, follow-ups, etc.)
