Job Description:
Cook at Ragu & Co we prepare, seasons and cook food in the restaurant.
We are looking for a full time (at least 38 hours per week) skilled Cook to perform the following duties:
Responsibilities
Prepare meals in line with the restaurant standards
Support the ordering of food and supplies
Care for food supplies and leftovers appropriately
Infuse flavours by adding seasonings
Maintain and operate the kitchen in a clean, sanitary, and safe manner throughout the cooking process
Prepare meals for special events and functions, adjusting the dishes accordingly with the dietary needs of the customers
Artfully plate dishes with appropriate portions, accompanied by sauces, gravies, and garnishes
Develop menu suggestions
Check that store food and supplies are delivered
Control the temperature of ovens, grills, and various cooking equipment
Requirements
Relevant qualification or 3 years of experience in lieu of the qualification
At least 3 years of experience in the relevant role
A can-do attitude and ability to work independently
Good customer service skills
Position: Full Time (at least 38 hours per week)
