To better service our existing clientele nationally and to step up the development of our Western Australian market space, we are actively recruiting a results driven candidate based out of our Canning Vale location who will energetically manage Sales & Business Development across Western Australia. Hidrive is the only Australian manufacturer of service bodies for utes, trailers and trucks with a company owned national installation network. We manufacture our own shelves, benches, drawers, towbars and dozens of other accessories. Hidrive’s light and durable aluminium canopies maximise payload and have been continually improved since the 1990s. Engineered more like an aircraft fuselage than a traditional heavy steel box, Hidrive canopies are Australia’s most popular and have proven bulletproof in the field for decades.

About You

The successful candidate needs to be willing to learn and preferably have demonstrated experience, competencies, and skills. Also, you will provide leadership by way of being 100% loyal and honest to our team and always put the business first.

About the Role

The role is all about proactively building and cultivating new business and to grow the business already generated from existing and recurring clients. Ultimately… build on our existing business in Western Australia! Initially, comprehensive training will be provided, and our experienced team will collaborate and provide on-going support to ensure that the best possible results are achieved for both Hidrive and the successful candidate.

Key Accountabilities

* Be a go-getter that works closely with all of your colleagues in our national sales team.
* Cultivate and build new business and new contacts in the market.
* Work closely with our whole team in all areas of the business.
* Proactively build quality working relationships to achieve new business and contacts in the market.
* Maintain clean CRM data and meet sales activity KPI’s.
* Achieve strategically set sales targets.
* Substantially build on our existing business, particularly in your home state, also supporting the endeavours of the business nationally.
* Achieve a detailed understanding of the different needs of every customer.
* Ensure that Hidrive’s Sustainable Competitive Advantage is clearly communicated as applicable to the needs of each customer.
* Deliver internal feedback for new product and revenue opportunities as they are identified.
* Be accountable for all work time and activities.
* Think outside the box to meet customer needs and apply the needs to the Hidrive product and process.
* Fulfill the Sales Department Mission: ‘Sustainable growth through an empowered, professional and fearless sales team who have detailed knowledge and empathy of customer needs’.

Minimum Requirements

* Work rights in Australia
* Qualifications in Business Management or Sales
* A trade-based qualification would be viewed favourably
* Ability to gain a comprehensive understanding of the light commercial vehicle market
* Possess essential knowledge of various trades with a view to understanding their mobile workspace requirements
* Experience in sales roles in companies of equivalent or larger total revenue to Hidrive would be advantageous
* A strong understanding of Sales and Customer Care best practices
