We are currently seeking motivated Occupational Therapists with experience in hospital rehabilitation programs and varied acute case mix to join a multidisciplinary team. About the Role:
As an Occupational Therapist, your responsibilities will include:
* Planning, assessing, implementing, and evaluating clinical care in collaboration with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and health outcomes
* Contributing to the coordination of clinical care while working in partnership with the allied health team, nursing, and non-clinical staff, providing both direct and indirect clinical input
* Providing education and support to patients and their carers/families for health recovery, rehabilitation, and discharge plans
* Conducting individual and group therapy programs
* Maintaining a professional development portfolio to ensure caseload requirements are met and registration standards are maintained
Essential Criteria:
* Authority to work in Australia
* Generalist acute clinical experience, including hospital-based rehabilitation (2-5 years post-graduate experience)
* Working with Children Check
* Bachelor of Applied Sciences in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
* AHPRA registration
* Clinical expertise and a commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement
* Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high-functioning team
* Highly developed interpersonal skills; proactive, motivated, and patient-focused
* Flexibility in managing a varied caseload and implementing both group and individual programs
