About UsPitch & Pulse Academy is a newly established private music school offering structured, personalised tuition across all age groups.
We focus on building confidence, technique, and creativity through programmes covering classical, modern and multicultural genres.
Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver high-quality private lessons in vocal and instrumental performance (e.g., violin, tabla).
Teach music theory and practical skills: notation, rhythm, melody, harmony, ear training.Develop and follow individualised lesson plans based on age, skill level and goals.Prepare students for graded examinations, recitals, competitions and school events.Conduct individual and small-group sessions, ensuring engagement and progress.Organise and support student showcases, assessment days and cultural events.Maintain lesson records, learner assessments and attendance tracking.Adapt teaching for mixed levels, using confidence-building instruction and creative methods.Collaborate with parents and academy management on performance goals and learning pathways.
Skills & Experience RequiredBachelor of Performing Arts (Music) or equivalent (minimum).
Proficiency in vocal training, violin instruction, harmonium instruction, tabla and rhythmic foundation, beginner/intermediate instrument coaching.Experience preparing students for public recitals, competitions, cultural showcases, examinations and Visharad certifications.Strong communication and classroom engagement skills for students aged 5 years to adult.Ability to teach diverse ability levels and adapt lesson structure to learning needs.Working With Children Check (or ability to obtain).
Highly DesirableUpdating teaching materials or contributing to curriculum frameworks.Event planning and student recital coordination.Multicultural music knowledge or familiarity with South Asian classical traditions.
Remuneration$85,000 per annum plus superannuation, based on qualifications and experience.
