McGrory's Transport, a well-established, family-owned freight company, is seeking a proactive and experienced Part-Time Operations / Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This is a dual role suited to someone who thrives in logistics coordination and is also willing to jump behind the wheel for local deliveries when required.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with company Health & Safety policies and procedures
Effectively manage and pre-plan daily scheduling of drivers and fleet
Liaise directly with customers, drivers, and stakeholders
Book and manage transport operations in line with customer requirements
Maintain accurate operational records and monitor KPIs
Assist with local driving as needed (HC or MC licence required)
Success Profile
HC or MC truck licence essential – with recent driving experience
Previous transport/logistics experience is essential
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Computer literate – especially Excel and data entry
Committed to safety and teamwork
Willingness to work flexibly across operations and local transport tasks
