The business is now seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead a skilled team in their precision manufacturing environment. This role is crucial in ensuring optimal equipment performance, minimising downtime, and fostering a strong safety culture.
Your new role:
As the Maintenance Manager, you'll take charge of preventive and corrective maintenance strategies, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Your expertise in electrical and mechanical maintenance, combined with strong leadership skills, will be key to maintaining reliability and continuous improvement.
Key focus areas will include:
• Developing and implementing a comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance program.
• Leading and mentoring the maintenance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Diagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical issues to maintain operational efficiency.
• Collaborating with production teams to minimise downtime and prioritise key tasks.
• Driving health, safety and environmental procedures in all maintenance activities.
You will be based out of their Western Sydney manufacturing facility.
Your experience:
• A trade qualification – preferable mechanical or electrical.
• 5+ years' experience in a manufacturing maintenance leadership/supervisory role.
• Proven experience managing maintenance systems, particularly for complex machinery.
• Experience driving a preventative maintenance program and delivering improvements to a maintenance function.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business success.
