About the role
Rembrandt Living is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Systems Engineer to join our growing IT team. As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the operational stability, performance, and security of Rembrandt Living's enterprise systems and digital infrastructure. This role serves as the key escalation point for complex ICT issues beyond first line resolution and plays a vital role in system optimisation, integration, and continuous improvement.
Working closely with the Leadership Team and Service Desk, the Systems Engineer ensures the reliability of critical applications and infrastructure, contributes to system lifecycle planning, and supports the deployment of technologies that enhance user experience, data integrity, and business outcomes. This is a full-time position based in our Hillcrest, SA office.
What you'll be doing
Technical Escalation and Support: Act as the second line escalation point for the ICT Service Desk, resolving complex technical incidents and requests across hardware, software and enterprise systems.
Systems and Application Management: Administer, maintain and support core platforms including (but not limited to):
* Clinical and Operational Systems: LeeCare, TRACCS, eCase, Best Practice, CareSystems, Complispace, HiBob
* Communications and Telephony: 3CX, RingCentral
* Productivity and Collaboration: Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, CoPilot, Power BI).
* Security and Authentication: Sophos MDR, Watchguard Authpoint, Azure MFA.
* Workflow and Service Management: HALO ITSM, Jira.
Device and Asset Management: Oversee lifecycle management of desktops, laptops, mobile phones, tablets, printers and peripheral equipment.
Systems Integration and Automation: Support integration across cloud and on-premises systems to streamline workflows and ensure data consistency across platforms.
Security & Compliance: Support the implementation of cybersecurity controls in line with Rembrandt Living's risk framework and incident response policies.
Documentation and Process Improvement: Maintain up to date technical documentation including standard operating procedures, configuration records and system diagrams.
What we're looking for
* Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or related discipline or equivalent experience.
* Microsoft Azure Foundation (or equivalent)
* ITIL v4 Foundation.
* Minimum 3–5 years' experience in systems engineering, infrastructure support, or advanced ICT support roles. Strong understanding of Windows and Linux server administration, virtualisation, and cloud technologies
* High degree of proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration, Windows Server, virtualisation, and ITSM platforms.
* Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise systems in a regulated or clinical environment.
* Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and experience with MDR/XDR tools.
* Strong understanding of healthcare-based CRM platform support and administration in particular CareSystems, TRACCS and Health Metrics
