Job Description About the Opportunity The Information & Privacy Officer is responsible for managing all right to information applications, information privacy applications and privacy complaints received by the University. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end processing of RTI, IPA, and privacy complaints. Provide expert advice and support to staff on RTI/IPA and privacy obligations. Conduct investigations and recommend findings to the Privacy Officer. Develop and maintain RTI/IPA and privacy complaint resources for stakeholders. Deliver staff training and education on RTI/IPA and privacy matters. Maintain accurate records to support compliance and reporting requirements. Monitor legislative changes and update related policies and procedures. About you The occupant of this position will hold relevant undergraduate qualifications (preferably legal qualifications) with at least two (2) years-experience in a similar role or have an equivalent level of expertise obtained from a combination of experience, training, professional accreditation and qualification. Candidates must have full unrestricted Australian work rights and may be subject to a National criminal history check. What we can offer This is a continuing opportunity based at Brisbane South (Nathan). As Griffith is a multi-site University you may be required to work across other locations.
